Hannah about her time in Steinkopf: ‘We had a lot of ‘freedom outreach’ during our time in Steinkopf. Most of this time was spent going door to door and talking to people, getting to know them and praying with them as well. I found that everyone was very open and willing to let us pray into their lives (which was encouraging).

A great experience that I had during freedom outreach was during the last week. I went with Ashley and we walked around for awhile and went to a shop to talk to a man named Robert. He asked us to pray for him and his wife who were struggling in their relationship with their two sons Dale and Ryan. His wife, Rosie, was upset because their son Ryan was at school in Capetown, and they hadn’t heard from him in over 2 months. She was worried and just wanted him to call home. And their son Dale had a court date for a crime he didn’t commit. We prayed for them and it was hard leaving and feeling somewhat hopeless about the whole situation. BUT….God is amazing and completely answered their prayers.

Two days later we ran into Robert, after thinking I’d never see him again, and he told us how the day after we prayed, the court case for their son Dale was completely dismissed and Ryan not only called home, but came home altogether. Their faith increased and they praised God for His faithfulness and so did we.’
